How to participate in the Call for Papers

As a first step, you have to register and submit your abstract online.

You will be notified of acceptance by end of July, after an independent advisory board has evaluated all abstracts.

Possible topics

Wanted:
Technical presentations and compact seminars dealing with embedded software engineering from the perspectives of research, development, management and society.

Proven topics:
Requirements, architecture, modeling, implementation, quality assurance, project management and process design as well as current challenges and solutions for real-time, functional safety, Artificial Intelligence, digitalization, IoT, open source, multicore, machine learning, smart mobility and security.

The audience is also highly interested in topics like sustainability and ecology, ethics and responsibility as well as future work, work organization, leadership and training. Content like best practices and lessons learned in project routine will be appreciated.

Presentation with or without demo (40 min.), compact seminar (3 hours), compact seminar (5 hours)

Your paper in the conference proceedings

Publish the paper on your presentation in the ESE conference proceedings to reach also those who could not attend your presentation.

What's the benefit?

The paper for the conference proceedings only needs to be submitted after your presentation has been accepted. There are numerous advantages:

  • You also reach those who could not attend your presentation in person.
  • Those interested can look up essential details of your presenation afterwards.
  • Your attendees' colleagues will also use the conference proceedings as a source of information.
  • You can normally reuse the text several times, e.g. on your website or in a whitepaper.
  • Many papers will be published by the ELEKTRONIKPRAXIS editors as coordinated with you.
